A Healthy Lifestyle
Ever notice we are in a society chasing instant gratification to feel better? Always looking for the next "high", or quick fix? More often than not, I see our culture trying to chase this with unhealthy behavior.
This pursuit of the next "high" can try to be attained by anything from drinking, to partying, to dr*gs, to social media, to over shopping, gambling oh the list goes on..
What if I told you that you can achieve all those feelings you're chasing with the natural hormones your body produces in a much more healthy and positive way!
THAT'S RIGHT! When you workout, your body releases endorphins, which are often referred to as "happy hormones." Endorphins act as natural painkillers and mood elevators, giving feelings of happiness and well-being. Exercise can also trigger the release of serotonin and dopamine, neurotransmitters associated with mood regulation. ALL these hormonal responses add to the positive mental effects often experienced after a good workout!
